Our Mission
Musicians for a Cause was founded to harness the power of music to inspire compassion and support for worthy causes. We engage songwriters with nonprofit organizations to provide music that brings life to the causes they support.
We do that by bringing together artists who are interested in making a difference with their music and providing an effective platform for them to connect with organizations who can use their songs for a greater good.
Through our ever-expanding songwriter network we either identify songs that inspire support for specific causes or we engage the songwriting community in writing them. As a musician and songwriter there's nothing more rewarding than knowing your work will touch and inspire people, and we provide that opportunity.
The songs are used in "downloads for donations" campaigns that enable organizations to leverage the inspirational power of music and the reach of the internet through social networks, email, etc. to engage supporters. Since everyone loves to share music, we provide downloads in return for donations and encourage supporters to share the songs among their networks to encourage even broader support. That's how we make a difference.
Our Focus
There are over 1.1 M nonprofit organizations in the United States. Most are community-centered organizations staffed with caring people who make a real difference. They have a significant social impact, operate on tight budgets and struggle to find funding. Although they do their best at fundraising, pursuing grants, creating awareness, attracting volunteers, etc. with limited resources it's a daunting task.
We understand their struggle and the environment they operate in and offer support through our cooperative campaigns. Cooperative campaigns are national initiatives in support of a specific cause, and any organization aligned with that cause can participate for free.
We also work with national organizations who have a strong presence at the community level through custom campaigns.
Our campaigns enable organizations to leverage the power of music and the latest technology to connect with large numbers of people, using music to inspire compassion, create an emotional bond with supporters and encourage people to share with friends to create even broader support.
