Custom Compilation CD Projects Music is a powerful tool for creating awareness and compassion for issues that face our society. It can reach people in ways that no other medium can, while delivering messages that create understanding and inspiration. Musicians for a Cause works with nonprofit organizations to help them bring life to their mission through music. We believe that every nonprofit organization that wants music to support their cause should have access to it, even if they don't have the resources to fund it. We're developing programs to do that through the Musicians for a Cause Foundation and part of the funding comes from providing custom compilation CDs for nonprofit organizations to use in their fundraising efforts. Our custom compilation CDs are created by hosting international contests to produce the most compelling combination of songs we can find... songs that tug at heart strings and create an emotional bond between the listener and the nonprofit organization. In general the songs come from independent artists, and in many cases it's the same aritsts whose songs are used in today's TV shows and movie productions. On a selective basis we'll also reachout to some established artists to participate. The contest allows us to deliver custom songs with messages is in support of the mission of the organization sponsoring the CD - bringing life to your cause. This ensures that every time someone hears a song on their CD or mp3 player, they think of your organization.
