This is a touching video we produced for the campaign. It was inspired by the song "From His Window" by the talented independent artist, John Smith.
Life in the Years is a two CD custom compilation produced by Musicians for a Cause for The Moore Center. AARP referred to it as "the best collection of songs about aging and the elderly ever produced".

The Life in the Years initiative was created to help fight Alzheimer's disease and bring awareness to the issues around aging. It includes a beautiful song from Natalie Merchant and a touching duet with Livingston Taylor and Carly Simon, as well as 35 other wonderful songs from talented independent artists.

Musicians for a Cause sponsored an international song contest that went out to over 500,000 artists around the world and we received thousands of entries. We also had several songs written just for this campaign. Our goal was to find songs that represented various perspectives on aging and elderly, and there were so many wonderful songs that we decided to make two CDs.
