Music for Your Cause
If you're a nonprofit organization and want to use music to help bring visibility and support to your cause, we can help. Songs are provided several ways:
Hosting a songwriting session with your organization
To provide custom songs we facilitate a storyboard songwriting session where individuals from your organization participate in a process that draws out stories and examples which represent the essence of your organization's mission. We capture structured notes from that session that are used to write custom songs.
We have a network of songwriters we engage to write songs based the inspiration you provide. If facilitating a storyboard session isn't possible you can provide inspirational stories through videos or in writing and we'll host a conference call to review the material. You'll have input on the messaging, style, etc. before anything is finalized.
This process works well to provide 3 to 5 songs which can be used in awareness campaigns and digital download fundraisers.
Custom Themed Compilations
If you're interested in a full custom themed compilation (10 or more songs) we'll conduct an international song contest to find multiple songs that reflect your organization's mission, and it may also include several written specifically to your requirements. Creating a contest involves engaging a network of over 400,000 artists on a worldwide basis to find the songs that best create emotion and support for your specific cause. It's the most effective way for us to provide a full custom themed compilation that can be offered digitally or as CDs.
We deliver songs whose primary theme supports your organization's mission - bringing life to your cause. We'll work with you to identify any topics, themes or inspirational stories to present to songwriters through the contest to ensure the focus is on obtaining songs that are inspired by the work done by your organization. We'll acquire the initial recordings, lyric sheets and inspiration notes for each song and submit them to you for review and approval. Our goal is to provide you with songs that truly reflect your mission and create an emotional bond between the listener and your organization.
In general the songs come from independent artists, and in many cases it's the same aritsts whose songs are considered in today's TV shows and movie productions. We accept both professional quality and draft recordings from songwriters and we'll arrange to have professional recordings that are 'radio ready'. We'll also assist in re-writing songs and we'll provide you with the licensing you need to use the them in support of your effort.
We charge a nominal fee to cover our expenses for this type of program. The cost can be covered by a sponsor who can also get visibility and goodwill through the campaign.
