Contest guidelines:
1. To be eligible you must have your own page as a participant in New Horizons for New
Hampshire digital download fundraiser. Creating a page is free. Click here to join the New
Horizons for New Hampshire fundraising team or you can select another team to join.
2. Songs must be inspired by hunger, homelessness, poverty or domestic violence and don't
have to mention New Horizons for New Hampshire or Angie's Place. We want songs that bring
awareness and compassion to their mission. For instance, songs can be about homelessness
(veterans, women, children, men), a volunteer who's making a difference, a family struggling to
make ends meet, a woman in an abusive relationship, etc.
3. Songs can be in any style, but it's important that the lyrics can be heard clearly.
4. Songs will be judged on the lyrics, melody, composition and emotional value and not the
performance or quality of the recording.
5. Maximum of 2 songs per participant
6. Artists retain all rights to their songs. If selected as a winner you will be asked to grant the
necessary rights to New Horizons for New Hampshire to use your song in promoting its
mission.

Additional rules:
* Artists will retain all rights to their material. Artists agree to provide New Horizons for New

inspiration notes to promote their organization. In return the artist will gain exposure and
recognition as a contest winner. The artist retains all other rights, including performance,
mechanical, synchronization, digital distribution rights, etc. and is solely responsible for
registering with the appropriate organizations.
* Each song submitted must be the original work of the contestant and the contestant must
own the rights to the work. By submitting the entry form, the entrant agrees to release
Musicians for a Cause and New Horizons for New Hampshire from any and all liability for
copyright infringement of any entry submitted by entrant. Songs can have co-writers, but please
designate one name only on the application. Musicians for a Cause and New Horizons for New
Hampshire are not responsible for entries not received by the deadline or for faulty file uploads.

Cause, New Horizons for New Hampshire, their families, subsidiaries, and affiliates are not
eligible.

14 days of notification date. The agreement will state that the winner's song is an original work
and he/she holds all rights to the song. Failure to sign and return such agreement within 14
days or provision of false or inaccurate information will result in immediate disqualification and
an alternate winner will be selected. Agreements for winners under 18 years of age at time of
award must be co-signed by parent or legal guardian. Agreements are subject to verification by
Musicians for a Cause and New Horizons for New Hampshire. Entry constitutes permission to
