Samples from the Musicians for a Cause catalog
This is a song that was written for the Moore Center in Manchester, NH. Their motto is
"Creating Opportunities for a Good Life". The request was for a song that supported their
motto while making no mention of people with disabilities. The songwriter is Liz Longley,
a talented independent singer-songwriter from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Visit
Liz's website.
Musicians for a Cause has been selected to provide songs in support of the National Council of Nonprofits... Life in the Years has been officially released to support our nations elderly. Visit www.lifeintheyears.org.
Moore Center Services, "Livin' a Good Life":
(This video will be featured on their new website which is coming soon!)
We believe that every nonprofit organization should have compelling multi-media content on
the front of its website and social media pages.
When you combine the power of music with
compelling images or video it creates an effective way for visitors to quickly develop an
understanding of your mission and begin to feel an emotional connection to your organization.
Also, people are much more likely to view a multi-media presentation than read a website or
brochure.

Our goal is to help you create multi-media content that resonates with your mission, and,
based on your resources, it can consist of a single song in a media player, a music slide
show, or a professionally produced video.

Below are some examples of the types of projects we do. Based on your resources the
results can vary from professionally produced videos or video slide shows, to more grassroots
projects such as involving your local community through schools and churches and hosting a
video contest. Involving the community also creates more awareness for your organization
and can be done as a fundraiser.
This is a professionally produced video about Alzheimer's disease that is part of the
Life in the Years custom compilation CD project. The Life in the Years initiative
features songs that bring awareness to issues around aging. The songwriter is John
Smith, an independent singer-songwriter from Trempealeau, WI and the song was
written about his father. Visit John's website.

This is an example of a lesser produced video slide show based on a song called
"Mother of Mine", which focuses on bringing awareness to troubled youth.
