Volunteer Opportunities

We're looking for volunteers to act as Musicians for a Cause Affiliate Directors in Boston,
New York, Nashville, Austin, or Los Angeles.

An Affiliate Director is someone who networks with songwriting associations, music
schools, industry organizations, etc. to engage songwriters and music industry
professionals who are interested in working as Musicians for a Cause Affiliates. The Affiliate
Director also assists in connecting Affiliates with nonprofit organizations as requests for
songs come in.

We have some basic guidelines to ensure a successful project and the Affiliate Director is
responsible for communicating those guidelines and staying close to the project to ensure
its completion.

We're also looking for volunteers to act as Musicians for a Cause Nonprofit Awareness
Directors.

These can be located anywhere and are responsible for creating awareness within the
nonprofit business community by networking with nonprofit organizations and associations
of nonprofits to help them understand what we can do to support their efforts. Through
articles in their newsletters, web postings, phone, email and attendance at events we
educate them on the power of using music to help create a better understanding of their
organization's mission and develop a stronger bond with their supporters.

This activity would be focused mainly around creating understanding of our volunteer effort
of providing single songs at no charge for nonprofit organizations to use in videos, slide
shows, in marketing campaigns, etc. to help develop more emotional support for their
cause.
